John Zemanek
John Zemanek founded Zemanek Marine Services, Inc. as President in 2001. Before opening his own firm, he worked for 17 years with another marine surveying firm in the Houston area. He began his marine surveying career in 1984 after graduating from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. He has worked with various steel trading companies, container lines, freight forwarders, stevedores, Port Authorities, domestic and international underwriters. His areas of expertise include steel cargoes, discharge and damage surveys, and investigation surveys including inventory and loss control and prevention. He has given many depositions as well as testified in federal court, both in the United States and abroad with an abundance of success for his clients. John is a member of the National Association of Marine Surveyors.

Stephanie Zemanek
Stephanie Zemanek joined Zemanek Marine Services, Inc. as Office Manager in 2006. Prior to 2006, Stephanie worked for Sea-Land Services then Maersk Sealand for almost twenty years. She held various positions including Administration Manager and Facilities Manager during her tenure. In her current position with Zemanek Marine Services, Inc., she is responsible for all administrative and accounting duties.
